PostSubject: Anyone care to download their P168+ firmware   Tue Aug 19, 2008 2:54 am

Hi,

I am currently running the p168C latest firmware on my P168+ but cannot get my 2 T-moble and 1 ATT 3g sims to work with it. It is beautiful it has the Iphone menu look and has more games, the bigger keypad numbers but I want my phone to work.

Would anyone running P168+ firmware care to share their backup file so that I can flash my phone with it? So far I have used every file I could find but the only one that worked had a user access password on it and no one seems to know what it is.

Thanks

Tdink listed the 168+ firmware below. Did you try that one? Good Luck!

Yeah I tried those before.

The first file did not work using Spiderman or Flash Tools 4.10.

Gauklers 168 does not work for me using FT 4.10 but does work using Spiderman. Once it is installed it asks for Phone Lock Code which no one seems to know.

P168C Latest file works using both Spiderman and FT 4.10 but does not see my sims.

P168C June works and looks a lot like the p168+ firmware but does not see my sims.

Thanks

I think I got the 168+ off my phone after I got it back on. I hope I saved it right. I will send it this evening when I get home and you can check to see if it will work. I hope I have it saved right. Catch you later this evening.

that is a very good question. scratch

from the information about MTK Processors

Quote :
What is the architecture of the MTK processors?
These are ARM-compatible, in fact the MT6226, MT6227, MT6229, and MT6230 are all confirmed have the ARM 7EJ-S core, which is a 32-bit RISC processor that can also natively run Java bytecode and includes an LCD controller.

now, if we can have someone actually try this. with a spare phone. that would be great Razz Judee? you there..... Laughing

Wouldn't there be a file size issue? It seems everytime a newer 168 comes out something from the previous version has been dropped. Seems logical that with all the I9 offers the fw file would be larger. Don't let this discourage you Judee, you are our disignated "Queen of the Flash".
